Jingo, Office Playboy
A handsome, ultra-light Golden Retriever with a British accent, Jingo is
an agility star who has a "genius" IQ according to his closest friends (especially
those with whom he lives). We knew he had talent when he quickly learned
to open the kitchen door in our office after we left him there one day while we went out to lunch. When we came back, Jingo appeared-- free and very proud of
himself. Named after the song, Jingo Lo Ba, by Babatunde Olatunji, he has many nick-names: Jings, Jingy, Jingles, Bukie, Buks, and Bukster to name a few.
Daily, as the Atlantic Media crew sees to their tasks, Jingo relaxes at the office,
often on his back holding a toy over his head in his hands (aka. paws). But his little sister, Maya, won't let him meditate on his toy too long. She keeps him from having a "boring day at the office" by stealing it so he'll have to chase her around and around the desks until they both collapse on the floor and do what dogs do best-- sleep. A good dog is a tired dog.
